ARTIST PROFILE
Oivong is a hybrid of Fashion designer, as well as aesthete, art educator, poetess, and sound artist.

She was graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Philosophy) in 1976 and gained her Diploma of Education (Art) from the same University. In 1981, she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Art and Design from the Washington State University, USA. Since then, she has also completed her Master's Degree of Education with a major in Aesthetics and Education in Arts at University of Bristol, UK, and completed her PhD in Art of Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. |
Oivong was an art lecturer at Hong Kong Institute of Education (Fine Arts Department). She published in the areas of Art, poem, Art criticism and Art education. She also exhibited widely across Hong Kong, and internationally includes the United Sates, Spain and Canada. As one of the artists chosen winning entries in the Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition 1994, 1996, and 1998, her works are collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Oivong has also been honored with the Grand Prize of Ideco International Painting Award in Spain 1997. She is now the president and Art director of ZIII Art & Playgame Ltd.
